The role

Our team sells and produces industry specific B2B news programmes for millions of viewers. As the Business Development Manager, or Programming Director as we call it, you drive your own in-depth industry research and lead generation for each specific topic before creating and delivering winning C-level presentations.

  • Connecting and engaging with thought leaders
  • Translating topical challenges into a vision that conveys a wider purpose
  • Driving revenue generation and achieving business goals
  • Creating commercial partnerships at boardroom level
  • Presenting engaging, intelligent proposals over the phone
  • Creating win-win value for partners by matching needs to relevant offerings and   presenting these in compelling ways
  • Gaining commitment and sales negotiations
  • Meeting and exceeding new sales KPIs and targets
  • A 360-degree sales cycle from research to pitch and close – in a B2B context
  • Researching and creating new prospects
  • Credibility and ability to present and close deals at C-level 
  • Experience of selling editorially focused content
  • Natural curiosity, intelligence and confidence
  • Being able to think critically and laterally
