    This role is responsible for leading all teams in the Advertising Production team: production, business development and creative.

    The successful candidate must have senior executive producer experience in producing content and they must understand different approaches to advertising including live TV ads, sponsorships, branded content and AFP, and digital marketing.

     

    The role has a strong business development requirement from new and existing clients.  This role will have specific responsibility for managing and developing our relationship with ITV and will be ultimately responsible for the experience and satisfaction of all our clients. You will lead the response to all briefs including delegating responsibilities with the team and helping to lead idea generation, and you will also oversee production processes across the team output. You must also have a strong creative flair and have extensive experience of managing creative teams. 

     

    In addition to the creative and production lead role that this position will play, you will also have responsibility for managing and tracking the commercial progress of the division. 

    This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future strategy and growth of the Advertising Production division, extending the business into new markets.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the production of all the team’s output
    • Manage our key client relationships
    • Develop new strategies and commercial workflows to ensure the highest level of client relationships and satisfaction
    • Credibly represent the production team and manage client expectations around production
    • Develop new business and build on existing business – unlocking new revenue streams
    • Lead major pitches and develop key partnerships
    • Lead the creative process and the development of ideas
    • Ultimate responsibility for the management of the division – attending pipeline meetings, reporting and forecasting, as well as managing profitability and margins across production
    • Develop the business strategy for Advertising Production in conjunction with the Group Managing Director and Head of Strategy and Development
    • Implement departmental and companywide strategy – managing teams through change
    • Manage the business development, production and creative teams, supporting the business heads to effectively grow their businesses and achieve their targets and objectives
    • Set and monitor targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
    • Continuously stay in tune with the market through market research and keep across any changes and opportunities
    • Be an inspiring and motivational leader.

    Qualifications

    • An idea-generating and business-winning leader with production experience
    • A creative, enthusiastic and inspirational approach
    • Good knowledge of the production process and how to translate this in to ideas that will inspire creative clients
    • Natural commercial instinct – you will be comfortable with management accounts, pipelines and margins
    • Excellent people management skills including experience of managing change and motivating teams – the ability to drive teams forward
    • Ability to set and exceed targets and experience in negotiating on all aspects of a deal preferable but not essential
    • Must have experience creating TV advertising, and ideally advertising for digital platforms
    • Understanding of brands, agencies and broadcasters and what they are looking for
    • A good relationship network in the industry – including brands, creative agencies and media agencies.
