The Wright Stuff is a two-hour flagship daytime topical discussion programme on Channel 5. We are looking for an enthusiastic and tenacious researcher, bursting with ideas, to join this fast moving and exciting production. We want to be plugged into what people are talking about every day to make sure the programme is lively, relevant and having the right conversations. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and are actively seeking candidates from diverse backgrounds.
The researcher will be tasked with creating and developing programme ideas, thoroughly researching guests and topics, booking additional experts/guests, supporting the programme editor in all aspects of building the rundown and supporting the presenter with research on the morning of a show. The successful candidate will need to be proactive, organised, meticulous and thrive under pressure.
