    As a member of the technology team at ITN, you will be responsible for project managing small to large-scale complex projects from ITN’s diverse technical project portfolio which includes traditional business systems along with delivering solutions for media acquisition, content editing and preparation as well as live broadcasted events.


    Whilst mainly office based, there will be requirements to work offsite and/or outside of business hours, at short notice on deployment projects and for larger special events, as the business agenda dictates.

    Initiate, plan and manage projects from conception to closure, including handover to Support and Operational teams:

    • Work with the sponsor to understand all objectives and benefits the project will deliver.
    • Identify project and external dependencies, key milestones and critical success factors.
    • Identify key project persons, including the sponsor, stakeholder(s), specialist skills and suppliers.
    • Create an effective communications model for projects of varying sizes, including escalation processes.
    • Identify risks, their potential impact; propose mitigating action and make recommendations.
    • Identify project resources, create a baseline project plan and maintain it throughout the project.
    • Produce a detailed PID suitable for the scale and complexity of the project.
    • Develop options; gain approval for the proposed solution, approach, budget, and timeline.
    • Engage and manage third party suppliers, including on-site attendance, in accordance with H&S.
    • Manage stakeholders, scope, budget, resources and change throughout the lifecycle of the project.
    • Manage project change requests to key elements such as budget, scope and schedule.
    • Ensure all project expenditure is tightly controlled.
    • Produce weekly project reports with RAG status for project and portfolio reporting.
    • Manage project schedules and monitor performance ensuring the project meets the agreed outcomes.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation for any given project is completed.
    • Ensure any training required is conducted to enable successful adoption of delivered changes.
    • Manage the transition to BAU Support and Operational teams.
    • Ensure effective closure of the project and conduct a post implementation review.


    • Experienced in gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting them.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to organise and manage personal workload.
    • Experienced in Agile and traditional waterfall project methodologies.
    • Experienced in delivering both technical and non-technical projects.
    • PRINCE2/Agile certifications.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Good understanding of ServiceNow
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
    • Appreciation of changing technology and practices across the industry.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products, including Visio.
