    ITN Productions is one of the leading creative production companies in the UK. Our award-winning advertising division deliver high impact branded content, ground breaking TV adverts and engaging multi-platform social media campaigns for leading brands including Camelot, TSB, Matalan, Suzuki, Ryvita, Warner Bros and ITV.

     

    We require a Senior Account Manager (SAM) to join our team and be a part of our growing success. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to progress their career in a business which is experiencing significant growth. To grow existing revenue streams for ITN Productions’ Advertising division through a combination of strategic pro-active new business generation and existing account growth. The SAM’s time will be split between pitching, negotiating and winning new business with brands directly, creative, media, PR and digital agencies and maximising the profitability and growth of existing brand and agency accounts.

     

    As the SAM, you will develop client relationships and have full client handling and management responsibility, liaising with all broadcast/agency parties whilst working with producers to ensure we deliver the best possible solution within budget. The SAM will also provide management of projects through to delivery including contract maintenance, license agreements, contact reports etc. and identify and generate new revenue streams and strategies in conjunction with the Head of Branded Content.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve set revenue targets monthly, quarterly and yearly
    • Identify and generate new revenue streams in conjunction with the Head of Branded Content
    • Implement departmental and companywide strategy
    • Co-ordinating pitch responses, liaising with producers to manage budgets & profitability
    • Pitching the proposal to client, or supporting wider teams pitches
    • Leading client meetings, creating agendas, capturing minutes and creating and sending contact reports to all relevant parties.
    • Day-to-day account management
    • Build relationships with existing and new clients to generate further revenue opportunities
    • Work closely with producers and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of projects
    • Work autonomously to generate personal strategies in line with individual and team targets 
    • Identify cross departmental opportunities for business growth
    • Support producers with Clearcast and Compliance requests
    • Report weekly to line manager on briefs/new pitches and revenue opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent people skills, along with the ability to understand what a client wants and why.
    • Confident client facing and senior account management experience
    • A solid understanding of creative and video production processes
    • Strong communicator - confident in pitching, writing and presenting
    • Ability to work autonomously and on your own initiative whilst still working as part of the larger team
    • Experience in negotiating multi-level deals
    • Good understanding of brands, broadcasters and agencies and how they are structured
    • Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Ability to convert a concept into a working product
    • Excellent written and MS Office skills
    • Experience and a passion for branded content and TV advertising is key
    • The ability to multitask in order to successfully manage a number of clients simultaneously
    • Good interpersonal skills, team player with personal authority
    • Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt and be flexible in task and role
    • Ability to work to a deadline
    • Play an authoritative role in team meetings presenting ideas in a persuasive manner
    • Sales experience – proven experience in formulating and selling in campaigns and branded content/ TVC packages
    • Experience working to targets
    • Strong current brand and agency relationships and contacts
    • Experience of Clearcast and Compliance approval processes desirable but not essential
