    We are looking for an enthusiastic digital native to help drive subscriptions and revenues on ITN Productions’ digital channels - ODN, ODE and The Royal Family Channel.


    Working to the Digital Content Manager they will assist in implementing and developing the social media strategy.


    The role sits within the ITNP News department with opportunities to develop editing skills and improve news judgement.

    • Passion for news, entertainment and royal family news
    • Understanding of the social media landscape
    • Knowledge of digital content copyright law
    • Excellent writing skills and the ability to adopt a brand tone of voice
    • Experience with social media analytics and tools and ability to analyse data and recognise trends’
    • Ability to work weekends when needed for events
    • Strong organisational and project management skills
    • Some experience of video editing and photoshop preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Media or Journalism degree preferable, but not essential


    • Continuous management of social media platforms including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram
    • Create compelling content including imagery and video for social audiences
    • Translate content across the separate platforms
    • Identify and clip up ITN core content to make shareable and formatted for each individual platform
    • Pitch ideas to Digital Content Manager and Editor and help plan for future events
    • Advise the wider news and entertainment team on trending topics and identify breaking news
    • Work on individual descriptions, metadata, custom end screens and cards to increase watch time
    • Daily monitoring of YouTube claims and ability to handle copyright disputes
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
