    We are looking for an experienced Digital Operations Manager to work across ITN’s three digital news channels, developing business opportunities, maximising revenues and shaping editorial policy.


    Subscriptions, views and revenue are all on the up, but we need a fresh perspective to channel this growth and shape our fantastic content. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who can turn trending stories into shareable content.


    This role is more than just community engagement. It requires a business savvy mind, a head for data analysis and the technical expertise to manage content on multiple platforms.

    The role sits within the News department with opportunities to work across ITN Productions and get involved with entertainment shoots.


    This is a permanent, full-time position.



    • Management of social media platforms including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram
    • Working alongside rev share partners to maximise revenues
    • Create compelling content including imagery and video for social audiences
    • Translate content across the separate platforms
    • Advise the wider news and entertainment team on trending topics and identify breaking news
    • Use analytics to generate reports on what content is overperforming across all channels and platforms
    • Daily monitoring of YouTube claims and ability to handle copyright disputes
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
    • Line management of social media producer including setting targets, training on new policies and overseeing daily output
    • Hit annual revenue targets and stay alert to future revenue opportunities

    • YouTube certified with in depth knowledge of digital copyright law. Candidates without this qualification will not be considered for the role
    • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of the social media landscape with a keen eye on future trends
    • Ability to search out and close business development opportunities
    • Strong data skills with ability to turn analytics into editorial policy
    • Experience of securing and negotiating sponsorship deals
    • Proven track record in building and engaging communities
    • Passion for news, entertainment and royal family news.
    • Excellent writing skills and ability to adopt a brand tone of voice
    • Strong organisational and project management skills
    • Video editing skills
