Our mission is to reach new audiences, on new platforms with new digital content. You will work on creating content across ITV News’ digital platforms – concentrating primarily on video. Driving growth on ITV News' social media platforms and own website by creating remarkable news video is essential. This role will work across ITV News digital platforms – concentrating primarily on video and producing high-quality visual content with the ITV News website and other social platforms in mind. This content could come from original sources (including in-house and self shot video), live digital broadcasting, agency or be made up of user-generated content. You will secure maximum impact for ITV News’ television material online – selling it as effectively as possible – and to re-edit television material for digital platforms in mind. Whilst the main focus of this role will be video creation, the successful candidate will have to occasionally write news stories, publish blogs and take on some web duties as well, including running the news desk. This role contains shift work, including occasional weekends.
To play a key role across ITV News London within the production team. To produce high quality packages contributing innovative structure, graphics and picture treatments, writing engaging and accurate scripts and lead-ins and output editing summaries and bulletins.

To produce and syndicate news content to ITN Productions broadcast and digital clients.
The role involves producing and editing video packages for a digital audience as well as logging and on-passing raw footage to other media organisations.
Accuracy, attention to detail, sound news judgement and editing skills are all essential to the role.
Industry News is a division of ITN Productions that produces broadcast-quality news-style programming in partnership with leading bodies and national associations representing different professions and industry sectors. The programmes are made up of in-depth interviews with industry leaders and influencers, independent news items covering key topics and issues, delivered alongside sponsored editorial profiles from leading organisations. They provide constructive, accurate and positive storytelling in a compelling news-style format. A bespoke narrowcast campaign, using events, direct email distribution, press and social media ensures the entire industry sector, influencers and wider stakeholders engage with the content.
The Industry News Special Projects division provides a full range of creative video content solutions for clients, who are mostly, but not exclusively, introduced to Industry News through our Association news-style programming.
To manage and optimise relationships with existing Industry News clients in order to improve client retention levels, develop additional revenue streams and ensure client satisfaction levels are exceptional. To develop the Special Projects business, through upselling and cross-selling video production services, and meeting the strategic communication needs of a diverse range of clients, with creative video solutions and campaigns. To achieve a set revenue target through converting existing clients into larger spending clients.
The Business Development Execuitve, should create a communications plan for existing clients, including touchpoints following the delivery of an Industry News film, and begin reconnecting with participants from previous years’ projects. They will ensure regular communication to our client contacts with updates on our work and information regarding attendance at events. This role will also provide valuable feedback to management on how our existing clients invest in video content.
We are looking to develop a pool of freelance producers to work across our newsgathering operation. We often have a number of short, medium and long-term projects that we require experienced producers to be able to work on at short notice. You should be able to uncover and produce stories of interest and distinction, work on breaking news in the field at short notice and be available to work on special projects and investigations. Previous TV experience is helpful but not essential, although you should have previous experience of working in a regional or national newsroom. You will work with the newsgathering team to ensure reporters, correspondents, and specialists have the material and the resources to produce high-quality packages.

You will ensure ITV News is across the top daily headlines and you will secure maximum impact for ITV News’ television material online – selling it as effectively as possible – and understand how to re-edit television material for digital platforms in mind. You will write and edit scripts for short and long form video with ITV News quality and tone in mind, publish blogs and take on web duties as well, including running the desk alone on shifts. The successful candidate will have to pitch story ideas, write and present an original daily news list, write news stories. Weekend and shift work will be regular.
You will help manage the distribution of ITV News content on social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google, on a daily basis and will be responsible for growing our audience on key strategic platforms. The successful candidate will have to relentlessly contribute to planning and innovate story ideas, pitch story lists, own and present an exciting planning diary and write occasional news stories. This role will contain shift work, including weekends.

As the Business Development Manager, or Programming Director as we call it, you drive your own in-depth industry research and lead generation for each specific topic before creating and delivering winning C-level presentations.
ITV News is looking for freelance Assistant News Editors to work across the ITV News Home and Foreign Desks. This role will involve logistical and editorial decisions and may involve research, the processing of stills and provision of a high-quality service to international clients.
To support the management team working within the ITV Newsroom (or other newsrooms as and when required) as part of the Administration team. Plan and maintain staff/freelance rosters to provide the required level of cover and capability for each area to meet programme requirements.
To edit pictures and sound for high-quality news reports and films, working to tight deadlines, and including visual and graphic effects available via the AVID system.
This role is to act as producer for a correspondent or specialist editor for ITV News TV programmes and our digital content. The input producer will be assigned to a specialism as a specialist producer or alternatively be assigned to the newsdesk as desk producer.
