As a member of the compliance team within the Legal Department, you will be supporting and assisting the Head of Compliance, the Deputy Head of Compliance and the Senior Compliance Lawyer with a variety of tasks.
ITN Productions is the commercial arm of ITN, creating compelling content for international and digital clients as well as ITNP’s social media channels. We’re looking for a confident digital journalist who is happy working independently, often to tight deadlines.
The role involves sourcing and pitching compelling visual stories for our digital audience, writing scripts and captions, and editing video using Avid Newscutter.
You will produce a wide range of videos covering news, entertainment and royals, from short viral clips to in-depth explainers.
We’re looking for someone who appreciates the importance of SEO, titles and thumbnails, with ideas about how to make our videos stand out in the digital space.
A familiarity with the back-end and analytics of social media channels (i.e. the YouTube studio) would be beneficial.
The role of the General Reporter is to provide top quality, well written and delivered news reports on a variety of stories for ITV News, London. You will be a self-starter, with the ability to self-shoot to a high standard. You will be able to provide for our digital operation, as well as our television service.
To script, source and edit video and graphics for ITN’s contract to supply the Telegraph Online with on-the-day and archive stories.
Suggesting and pitching video news ideas to the Telegraph based on the footage available to ITN, adhering to the tone and style of the client.
Managing the client relationship through clear, consistent communication with the Telegraph video desk.
The successful candidate must ensure that ITN Productions consistently delivers a high-quality, accurate service to our client.
- Proficient with desktop picture editing software, including Avid Newscutter and Adobe
- Experience of creating graphic explainers on Premier and After Effects
- Experience of writing to pictures
- Good communication and client liaison skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of media law and copyright and ability to apply this to use of incoming content
- Excellent attention to spelling and grammar
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Proven journalism experience working for a national or local news organisation
- Accuracy, attention to detail, sound news judgement and editing skills are all essential to the role.

We’re looking for a dynamic, ambitious and experienced Executive Producer to join our TV Production department.
This role is a 5-month contract to cover an existing member of staff, who is taking parental leave.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coming up with ideas, pitching to commissioners and producing programmes for UK and international broadcasters.

The ideal candidate will have newsroom experience and a proven track record for increasing followers, engagement and traffic on digital platforms, with a particular focus on young audiences. As well as understanding the commercial risks and opportunities associated with audience growth, we’re looking for someone with a broad understanding of Google’s news algorithm, Google Analytics and the key factors which may impact visibility in news search results. You’ll have the ability to successfully pitch data driven editorial ideas and a proven knowledge to optimise editorial content for news or digital publishing sites. We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills and expert skills in this field who can use SEO data to develop best editorial practices, prepare reports and guidelines, and actionable insights across all ITV News newsrooms.
